→ Slam Jam and Crocs: a classic, taken to the extreme.

Slam Jam and Crocs introduce their first-ever collaboration: a Black Classic Clog pierced with real screw-in, flat-head galvanized nails.

The project transforms Crocs’ iconic comfort silhouette through Slam Jam’s eye for friction, turning a symbol of ease into an object charged with tension. Across the upper, the hardware interrupts the clog’s familiar softness, making it both protective and hostile: a soft, everyday object that holds the wearer in place, exposing the discomfort of remaining too long within what once felt safe.

Shot by French photographer Shahram Saadat, the campaign unfolds inside a quiet, lovely house, where close shots make the warmth of domestic life feel slightly off. An elderly woman and her ferret move through the rituals of an ordinary day within a floral-patterned interior, surrounded by tapestry, warm light, and long telephone calls. Wearing the Slam Jam Crocs Classic Clog throughout, she inhabits a saccharine fantasy that slowly unravels, as the routine folds back on itself and its comfort begins to reveal a claustrophobic edge.

Slam Jam has long approached style icons as cultural objects to be reinterpreted, drawing out the dualities embedded in their identity and pushing familiar forms into more provocative territory. Here, the Classic Clog keeps its promise of ease while turning that promise against itself, asking us to look further at what comfort can conceal.

The collaboration will launch on May 20 through Slam Jam, Crocs, and selected retailers worldwide.
